Our Probiotics Line:
What Are Probiotics?
Probiotics are dietary supplements containing potentially beneficial bacteria. Probiotic bacterial cultures are intended to assist the body's naturally occurring flora within the digestive tract to reestablish themselves. Many probiotics are present in natural sources such as lactobacillus in yogurt and sauerkraut. Claims are made that probiotics strengthen the immune system.
The rationale for probiotics is that the body contains a miniature ecology of microbes, collectively known as the gut flora. The number of bacterial types can be thrown out of balance by a wide range of circumstances including the use of antibiotics or other drugs, stress, disease, exposure to toxic substances, or even the use of antibacterial soap. In cases like these, the bacteria that work well within the body may decrease in number, an event which allows harmful competitors to thrive, to the detriment of health.

Why Use Probiotics?
Probiotics can be a proactive action taken to increase the heath and digestive action of your animal. They can show a significant decrease in mortality as well as an increase in the stability of early rumen activity.
When to Use Probiotics?
Any time an animal becomes in need of additional positive rumen activity within its gut, is a good time to use a Probiotic. An ideal time to give probiotics is when a calf is new born. This aids in the prevention of negative pathogens taking an early control within its digestive tract.

Manufactured right here in Alberta, our liquid energy drench is great for any stressful situations your animals could be exposed to, such as birth, weaning, sickness, transport, and injuries. It provides essential nutrients, high levels of vitamins and amino acid chelates and is used to replace valuable vitamins and minerals back into an animal quickly after any stressful condition. We have POWER BOOST for calving pens, dairies, horses and feedlots.
Microcell live bacteria provide the same Lactobacillus bacteria that we include in our POWER BOOST. This can be added to your feed to help the older calves and cattle with the same issues that can cause them as much trouble as younger calves.
